Shimon Schocken, Course Instructor
Shimon Schocken is professor of computer science at IDC. This is the first time that he teaches CS101, so he is probably as nervous as the first-year students in this course. However, during the lectures he will try, to the best of his ability, to maintain a cool and composed appearance. Here is Shimon's home page
Boaz Kantor, Teaching Assistant
I'm a software engineer with several years of experience in software architecture, design and programming.
Until recently, I was the Director of R&D in Continuity Software, an enterprise software company doing DR/HA monitoring.
I also founded several startup companies in the past. I have a couple of patents in areas of security and computer networks, and I'm a Zell program graduate. In the army I served in 8200 between 1995-2001.
I'm here to make the best effort to help in shaping the best software engineers in the world. I believe in hard work, taking initiatives and expanding the knowledge beyond simple programming.
