Announcement re tomorrow's recitation

16/12/2010

Ahoy,
Tomorrow is going to be pretty hectic. We have many subjects to cover with lots of new material.
I strongly recommend downloading the presentations (all three) and going over them, trying to study the material TODAY. I promise you it will get you to several levels of understanding higher  tomorrow.
If you don't attend tomorrow's class, please make sure someone is taking notes for you. It's your responsibility to study the material by yourselves.
See you tomorrow, come with great energies!
BK.

New version of Lectures 9-1, 9-2 (for tomorrow)

15/12/2010

After going through tomorrow's lecture I decided to re-do a few slides and ended up re-writing slides 26-44 of this lecture.  So, it is with an apology that I ask you to download again the lecture (from the Lectures section) and re-print for tomorrow. You can keep old slides 1-25, especially if you wrote notes on them during the last class, but throw away slides 26-44 and replace them with slides 26-44 from the new version.

And, while we are on the subject of apologies, I regret to say that the grading of the midterm exam takes longer than I thought.  They grades will be published next week.  -- Shimon
