Have been posted. See you Monday -- Shimon
For those of you who go to the party tonight, I encourage you to download the presentation to your smartphone and go over it before the party.
For those of you who DO NOT go to the party, I encourage you to go to the party. Have fun, don't drivk and drine! See ya tomorrow morning (come even if you're hung over), Boaz. Check the details on the Exercise 2 forum.
Boaz. As promised, we have a lab just for you.
The lab is intended for you to come with unfinished business (not with unstarted solutions), where at least one tutor will be available for assistance. Below is the lab schedule:
It's a great tool for you guys, so use it. Boaz. Hey guys,
We're giving you the opportunity to be co-authors of exercise 3. We're going to write a simple trivia game, which will be based on YOUR questions and answers. See "Exercise 3" forum for more details. Boaz. See the "Lectures" section.
To find it, go to Recitations > Week 1, introduction.
If you have a laptop, you can use the embedded document at the bottom. If not, you can download and print either of the two versions on the top right. One of them is the full slides, the other allows space for notes. Cya tomorrow! Boaz. To IDC's Introduction to Computer Science course. The lectures of the first week are posted in the Lectures section of this site. We recommend printing and bringing them to class.
Exercise 1 is also published -- see the Homework section. Due date is October 20, at 16:00. -- Shimon Welcome the "Introduction to Computer Science" 2010-11 official website.
Take your time and go through all the pages in the website. As I asked you in the orientation week, please make sure to prepare your working environment and go through the entire Soft Landing document. Make sure you understand it and do all the exercises in it before the semester begins. We recommend that you either visit this site at least twice a day, or register the RSS feed (here, on the right) and subscribe for email notifications on the forum system. If you need help, our email addresses are on the right side (under "Author"). For homework issues, email Steven. For other matters you may contact me or Shimon. Try to make the best of this site, this course, this semester and the entire IDC experience. Good luck! Boaz. |
